Saturday, September 18th - Pianist Tyrone Jackson’s trio will perform at Ray’s on the River from 6:30 to 9:30PM. Jackson is one of the very best keyboardists in Atlanta. Don’t miss this one. 6700 Powers Ferry Rd NW, Sandy Springs


Sunday, September 19th - Stop by C. Ellet’s at the Battery next to Truist Park in Cobb County from 11AM to 2PM to hear pianist Louis Heriveaux with bassist Tommy Souter.


Monday, September 20th - Stop by the TEN ATL jam session in East Atlanta. The music goes from 9 until midnight and features a host of great jazz musicians in Atlanta. 495 Flat Shoals Ave SE, Atlanta


Tuesday, September 21st - The Joe Gransden Big Band will perform at Roaring Social in Alpharetta. Don’t miss this chance to hear a great big band in this incredible new performance space. 35 Milton Avenue, Alpharetta.


Wednesday, September 22nd - Bring your proof of vaccination (I applaud them for requiring this) and head to Red Light Cafe for the weekly jam session led by the great trumpeter and educator Gordon Vernick. This is one of the best jazz jam sessions in town. You can hear many of the jazz voices of tomorrow in addition to established veterans. 9 to midnight. 553-1 Amsterdam Ave NE, Atlanta.


Thursday, September 23rd - The Lauren Seay will perform from 6-9PM at Joy Cafe in Midtown. The bassist performs with a group of stellar musicians each Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The food and drinks are as good as the music. 1100 Peachtree St NE


Also, you can stop by the Commerce Club in Downtown Atlanta to see me perform with the great keyboardist Emmanuel Chops Smith. We play every Thursday from 6-9PM. The music, food, drinks, and view are always on point.
