Tuesday, July 12th - The Joe Gransden Big Band will perform Roaring Social in Alpharetta from 8:30 to 11PM. 35 Milton Avenue, Alpharetta.
A great band lead by vocalist N Joy Hill will host a jam session at Billy Allen’s in Milton. Featuring trumpeter Justin Powell, bassist Brad Cannata, guitarist Patrick Arthur, pianist Randy Hoexter, and drummer Chris Burroughs, this promises to be a great show. 3000 Heritage Walk, Milton.
Wednesday, July 13th - The amazing vocalist Audrey Shakir will join trumpeter Gordon Vernick’s Quartet at the Red Light Cafe. bassist Neal Starkey, drummer Robert Boone, and pianist Louis Heriveaux will round out this incredible group. The show begins at 8PM. 553-1 Amsterdam Ave NE, Atlanta.
Also on Wednesday, The Venkman’s Jazz Jam with Joe Gransden happens every Wednesday. All musicians are welcome to sit in. 740 Ralph McGill Blvd. NE.
Friday, July 15th - A dynamic and adventurous quartet featuring Travis Murphy, Tony Aparo, Darren Stanley, and Spencer Pope will perform at Elliott Street Deli and Pub at 9PM and 11:30PM.
Saturday, July 16th - The amazing vocalist Rita Graham will perform at the Velvet Note from 7:30 to 11PM with a fantastic band. 4075 Old Milton Pkwy. Alpharetta.
Sunday, July 17th - At 3PM, drummer Justin Varnes will lead a stellar band playing the music of Herbie Hancock - The Blue Note Years at the Strand Theatre in Marieta.
Also on Sunday, the pianist Emmanuel Chops Smith hosts the Brunch and Jazz Jam at Southern Feedstore beginning at 1PM. 1245 Glenwood Ave. SE. Atlanta. This is a great place to hear a group of amazing Atlanta-based musicians.
