Monday, January 17th - The TEN ATL jam session in East Atlanta is the place to be on Monday nights. The music goes from 9 until midnight and features a host of great jazz musicians in Atlanta. 495 Flat Shoals Ave SE, Atlanta
Tuesday, January 18th - Joe Gransden Big Band will perform at Roaring Social in Alpharetta. 35 Milton Ave. Alpharetta.
Wednesday, January 19th - At Buteco in Grant Park, a quintet called The Video Game Alliance will perform. Featuring saxophonist Luke Weathington and trumpet Justin Powell along with a rhythm section of bassist Brad Cannata, guitarist Patrick Arthur, and drummer Jonathan Mills. 1039 Grant Street SE, Suite C10 Atlanta.
Also on Wednesday, The Venkman’s Jazz Jam with Joe Gransden is back in the newly renovated space. All musicians are welcome to sit in. 740 Ralph McGill Blvd. NE.
Also on Wednesday, bring your proof of vaccination and face mask, and head to Red Light Cafe for the weekly jam session led by the great trumpeter and educator Gordon Vernick. Thursday, January 20th - The great trumpeter Russell Gunn will perform with his Black Lotus Klan at Gallery 992. The all-star group will feature Lil John Roberts, Terreon Gully, Nick Rosen, and Kebbi Williams among others. 992 Ralph David Abernathy. Atlanta.
Friday, January 21st - Guitarist dynamic guitarist Trent Minter will perform from 6 to 9PM at Ray’s in the City. 240 Peachtree St. Atlanta.
Saturday, January 22nd - The multifaceted trombonist and vocalist Saunders Sermons will perform at the Velvet Note in Alpharetta. 7:30 to 11PM. 4075 Old Milton Pkwy. Alpharetta.
